Good to see that CSC is handling applications in such a consistent manner. Now that they're working January it's the same completely random process. Pleased for the Jan filers with with NOA1s later than me who are getting NOA2s (and all the 2012 black holers) but hey you do have to wonder how that system works. Sorry did I say system rofl.gif

Given that they have hundreds if not thousands of K1's to process how they heck do they actually do them ? It's obviously not something logical (or fair) like NOA1 date If (and it's a big if) they work from the scanned docs then it's not like they wander into a cupboard and grab an unmarked plastic box piled up with applications forms, is it?.........

Or perhaps that is exactly how it is. Which quite frankly is an appalling indictment of a government

bureacracy.

I totally agree with you. I'm extremely happy that they are working on us (January's) but is weird how the applications get approved. Last person approved here had a date of the 31st and what about the persons with date 5th thru 20th?

Only (USCIS) know what are they doing. =S

I'm thinking maybe it's because the people employed basically all get a stack of applications to work through, some people work quicker and some applications are less complicated and easier to approve than others.it would explain the scattered approval dates

It could be that, but don't you think as important as it is. ..... it needs to be some sort of rules or order on how to prioritize "first come first serve"???

Again happy for all of us but what about for some people from Sep to December who haven't got theirs??

Getting any news has so many mixed emotions for me. I have a hard time being excited when I know so many are waiting their turn. I also can't stop the insane happy dance in me that's been carrying on since I recieved that text. My heart is swelling and breaking all at once! I say my prayers for you guys each day.

I got my RFE e-mail/text on Saturday the 11th but today they changed the date to the 14th and sent it to me twice 15 minutes apart. I am wondering if the cases get looked over more than once? Sunday and Monday my status said they had no information updates for me. It was a little strange and I'm hoping I don't get 3 different things to fill out! Lol! I was certain I had gone over the papers really well. I feel a bit jerk-ish to say but I am anxious to see what it is that I forgot. I HATE WAITING! At least with movement there is hope for everyone!

Maybe CSC will hold the bar higher for VSC and they will get their booties in gear!

What I find so bizarre is how might such a system actually be working, What kind of system is it that can approve a petition dated the January when there are petitions still doing nothing from July-Dec. At that level of - let's call it for what it appears to be - incompetence , one can only consider the system both broken and completely the opposite of a system.

I'd like to propose the following system to USCIS

1) Rent a big room

2) Get some of those plastic boxes with lids that you can buy in the hardware store for storing kids toys in

3) When applications come in chuck them in the boxes and then store the boxes anywhere you feel like in the big room. No need to label anything but hey let's go mad and colour code the boxes by month so you have some idea when they came in

4) If you get more applications in and the boxes aren't full pile the new ones on top of the old ones

5) When you run out of applications to process wander in with your own crate and fill it up from any boxes you like the colour of

6) Process your own crate in any order you like. Make a point of doing them in any order as by now they are completely out of order anyway.

OK so that's a crazy system. A huge government organisation being paid directly by their citizens and customers would never do anything like that.

Odd that the system they do have generates pretty much the same outcome.

I guess the main reason why VSC looks slow is that CSC has about 1500 petitions in a month and VSC about 4000 ))) Most of approvals are hidden from our eyes we can see only those who are registered on the website.
