Congrats Lizzy.. Yay :thumbs: I am so happy for your.

It's great!!.. but they sent me to Vermont .. looks like I'll have an even longer wait now... thought I was goin to Cali :blink: oh well.. just happy it's there... one less thing to worry about. Glad both of yours made it thier safely... eventually... :lol::no: two is better than none. Do you think you have to contact them to let them know about the one with the cancelled check? or do you think that one will just be revoked or not accepted or whatever?

well i called and the agent said the one with the cancelled check will be just be rejected. Each application is treated as a separate case. So now I am just hoping it goes as she said. And that I will receive my NOA1 hopefully next week.

USPS tracking has been stuck at "Arrival at Post Office" in Dallas from January 07, 2013, 3:34 am

Does this mean it's delivered since it's going to a PO Box (which I assume is in the post office)? Or will it change to delivered when it's actually delivered? Haven't gotten any notification from USCIS yet either via SMS or email. How long does it usually take them to send a notification out after they receive it?

I sent mine December 1, 2012 and i got my NOA1 DEC 10. Just wait a week or two, if not call them after 30 days..

Grats to all that got their NOA1. I'm still waiting. Just worried cause USPS doesn't say delivered, just arrived at post office. Hope that they actually did put it into their PO Box and not just have it lying around the post office somewhere.

Although by me there are no USPS scans from NY either, it started in Dallas even though I sent it from NY, so it's possible that it's delivered and USPS just sucks at scanning their stuff:

I've already checked the USCIS website for my case status like every day... I know.. I'm neurotic!! :wacko: . Have you looked at your yet? It says that mine was received on the 4th, but I didn't get my text until the 9th.... Not sure if that means that my actual NOA1 date is the 4th??

I called USPS, they said that arrived at post office means delivered. I then called USCIS and she told me that until 10 days passed they can't tell me anything and if I haven't received NOA1 from them after 10 days I can call them again. I guess I'll wait and see if I get a hard copy NOA1 from them next week. It's possible that they just ignored my G-1145 and haven't sent me any text or email.
