long time no post. our time is nearing!

I wish I was with VSC!!! That way half of the wait would probably be over already. I officially envy you guys! Good luck anyways, we all deserve to be with our sweethearts

I'm really pleased for all you VSC people. No really I am  Being stuck in the afterthought that is CSC I'm just hopeful that I'll be there for Christmas. It was going to be my birthday end of October and then TG but now I'm thinking Happy Sodding Holidays could be just as likely. That said time is passing and perhaps the DACA bulge is over , toilets unblocked and holidays over for a while. Perhaps that crazy customer service ethic will kick in...

I know, it´s pretty unpredictable. But VSC just updated their processing time back to 5 months. I don´t think they would dare to do that if they were as far into limbo as CSC seems to be. Imagine all these customers have a right to send in service requests and "bother" poor VSC now if they´re over 5 months. CSC is "clever" enough to state they´re still working on July 18th so folks will not bother them and claim to be processed "already". :bonk: You know what I mean? That just leads me to believe that unlike VSC, CSC is not remotely close to being on top of things. They probably have no clue if, how and when they will back to a decent processing time.

Last night I emailed the USCIS ombudsman about my concerns regarding the processing times at CSC and my pending case.

This morning, I received the same response that someone else posted on visajourney yesterday: The processing time at CSC has slipped due to other processing priorities, but they are currently moving resources to the I-129f cases. As they do so, they anticipate the processing time to decrease. (My letter said not to copy and paste it, otherwise I would have posted it here)

Here is the ombudsman email: OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

I suggest everyone write to them. No matter if you just received your NOA1 last week, or if you have been waiting months. It takes 5 minutes to write a couple of sentences about your concern regarding the processing times for K-1 fiance visas at CSC.

It seems they are finally doing something about it, and if we keep the pressure on, maybe they will realize just how bad it has gotten.

wow, I just saw on your ticker that you haven´t seen each other in 10 months! :(

How are you holding up? Can you visit each other any time soon?

I hope my fiance will be able to come out here for a short visit, but it will only be once during the whole waiting process and it´s not definite yet....

all this uncertainty is driving people insane, isn´t it!?
