This is crazy... they are currently on March and even April... I think I shouldn't have contacted my senator, because it probably pissed them off and they put my papers in a special stack =(

No, I don't think they would do that, There are still people from December waiting as well. This isn't an easy process and at no point should anyone think it is. Keep holding strong, I'm contacting the Congressman on the 30th if my fiance and I don't hear anything. Since I'm going to be in the states anyway, I'm hoping it comes then!!

We too!!! Jan 16 filer, got RFE on 2nd July, reply sent on 16th July... & waiting continues.... Need to be patient, that's what we all can do...

I called the Department of State (202 663-1225) instead of the NVC (who said that I did not have a case number) and got a case number today. She said my case was sent to Montreal on the 22nd.

Timeline

I called the Department of State (202 663-1225) instead of the NVC (who said that I did not have a case number) and got a case number today. She said my case was sent to Montreal on the 22nd.

The DoS number is a lot better to call. Called NVC yesterday evening and after 15 times being busy I finally got through to wait 20 minutes on hold and then got some rude woman (her first words were "Give me your number") tell me it's not there yet.

Called DoS today, a nice gentleman (his first words were "Good afternoon, I'm Michael, How can I help you today?") picked up right away without any hold time at all and still told me it's not there yet. At least I didn't have to waste half an hour in order to find out.

Also have a question on form G-325a biographic for her (unsigned) I filled it out but missed the spot about last occupation abroad if not listed above, she went over to Japan through an agency for about six months what should we do?

Opps it was only 3 for months ten years ago and she has nothing from then to show where or who it was with and doesn't remember.

Oh yea,,,we just got the same thing today also in our e-mail...It means that it has been sent to the NVC and I am most hopeful that we will get our case number any day now...I am excited...great news...
