to file ROC on your own you need to show you entered the marriage in good faith and it ended in divorce

Soooo

police report- can include but wont be useful except to show how marriage ended

personal protection order, judge ordered him that he can not contact me , mediation agreement, women's shelter letter, three therapists reports, one full psychologic assessment, criminal sentencing- same as above

divorce judgement- this you need to include

pre-nup- this you can include

marital counseling records- good

joint account- good. you want to inlcude ALL pages going back as far as you can.

pictures- good

You can check the ROC forum for examples of what people submit as evidence. It usually includes affidavits from people who knew the couple as a legitimate married couple (friends/family/landlords/coworkers) Rental/lease agreements, proof of joint property (but since your divorced all the property would have been divided) But if you have a copy of the lease where you did live together jointly that would be good evidence. Any email/hard letter correspondence between the two of you showing a relationship. Christmas/birthday cards. Photos. Vacation receipts. Health insurance. Basically you need to demonstrate that during the marriage you lived together at the same address, shared expenses and were a legitimate couple. So try to find things that meet that criteria. Most of the things you listed are evidence of the fact that you had a 'bad breakup' and he is a criminal that caused you a great deal of heartache at the end.

You only check one box- Box D that you are divorced. Box E is for is people who are STILL married to abusive spouses and are trying to file on their own w/o the support of their abusive partners (VAWA applicants). You can check the instructions (under who may file this form) for clarification of the 4 types of waivers available to file.

I understand, but I am filing as divorced, also as abusive spouse that I had an extreme hardship during the marriage. So checked two boxes.

Anybody familiar with this route?

You only tick ONE box and if you're divorced, tick the divorced box. If you tick the abused box you need to prove the abuse as well as proving a good faith marriage.. doubly hard.

No-one knows if your evidence will be enough. We don't know you. We don't know what red flags your case already has. All you can do is file and cross your fingers and toes!
