Fahad, congrats on your wife's pregnancy! Exciting news! I think a letter from your wife's doctor using your name as a part of the paperwork could be useful.

Did you send tax transcripts or just tax returns? Did you file as married, even if your wife didn't have any income? Tax transcripts can be requested from the IRS for free and you get those in a few days.

Also affidavits are some things that I used in my package for my husband - one from a coworker, one from a friend from church, and another from our pastor at church. Can you get affidavits of your continuing and loving marriage from some people outside of your family?

Also on the home front, I had purchased my home before I got married and I wrote a letter explaining that we couldn't get refinancing at this time. Getting a letter from whomever allows you to live where you live explaining your living arrangements could be more useful.

I included a work directory listing my DH as my spouse. Would your work have anything like that?

Thanks lilacvioletiris for the reply.

I will definitely get a letter from the doctor... I have already got an appointment for Jan 3rd. I did send the tax return for only 2011 since I started working in 2011 I didn't had job before that. I will also send this time affidavit from my in laws and friends stating our marriage is genuine. Since we are joint family and the house is in my brother's name he is going to write a letter that I live with him all the utilities are also on his name. Back in Feb I applied for car loan but was denied coz of length of the credit history I do also have the denial letter my wife have no credit since she is house wife and never worked but I am still trying to built her credit as well so that in future we can buy our own place.

I am gathering all the evidence I can i am not in a hurry like I did last time but even won't wait till the last minute.

Ok guys, I had been gathering all the evidence I can here is the list:

* letter from doctor my wife is 3 months pregnant

* ultra sound of the unborn baby.

* Bank statements and credit statements

* affidavit from my in laws that my marriage is legit.

* affidavit from my brother that I live with him and he owns the house and all the utility bills are on his name and we don't pay any rent.

* added my wife as an authorize user on my credit card.

* junk mails in my and my wife name.... Mostly credit card offers.

* also a letter from me and my wife that we are happily married and are expecting our first child.

* denial letter of auto loan in my name due to short credit history.

So this is what I have gathered so far. Plz give me any feedback if I am missing anything.

Thanks in advance
