Hello Guys,

I am July filer 2012 and today i got an RFE regarding the application i sent to USCIS. The RFE states the stuff i send with the application which was:

* Joint Tax Return 2011

* Joint Credit Cards

* Joint Bank Accounts

* Travel Docs

* Joint Auto Insurance

I also send sams club membership cards and pictures from our vacation in Las vegas and other gathering.

According to them this is insufficient evidence and i send them 3 different bank account in both of out names 2 saving accounts and 1 checking spamming our 2 years of marriage, by the way for all three accounts i send them 24 months of statements.

They are also saying that i do not have 2010 tax return. i got the job in 2011 i never worked in 2010 so i had no taxes in 2010 my wife is a house wife so she does not work.

Since our cultural background we live in a joint family and ever bill is in my brother( the owner of the house) name so i have non of the bills in my name. Since me and my wife didnt had credit so we opened a secured credit card back in 2011 so that we can start building our credit.

We do not have any 401k, Life or health insurance and any loans.

I am trying to establish myself and everybody in the family is supporting me. My Marriage is genuine and i love my wife alot.

Now my Question is what other evidence i can send them since i wrote already whatever i have i had already send them. The house belongs to my brother and everything is in his name.

Any Help would be appreciated.

What about affidavits, Christmas and Holiday Cards, see a list from others and read the conversation in the ROC Forum with the USCIS director, Gary and Alla Posting. For a few ideas.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Fahad, what about letters from people who know you, especially parents from the USC side like someone suggested here?

Also, photos? Trips together? driver license? Junk mails? Any forms that list you as emergency contact and vice versa??

I would send the letters explaining your situation again and hope that they do get it this time. or have your family write it that you are living with them, etc. as you are telling us.

Thanks for the reply immibie. I am going through the junk mail we got a lot of credit card offers in the mail but either they are in my name or my wife name. What u think should we send them as well? I told the whole story to my brother... He told me that he is going to write a letter stating that he has his name on all the utility bills and mortgage. My in laws are also ready for any kind of help . Should they write letters stating that we live together and are happily married ? I am going to also get affidavit of support from my wife side like her aunt cousins since in our wedding we had more than 150 people invited. I had also saved the greeting cards from the marriage.

Since I had only one tax return should I wait till I file for 2012 or should I just send all the documents. My cut off date is march 5th.

Plz guys give me more input on evidence coz I might have missed or haven't thought about. More info will be appreciated. Thanks

Even if the credit cards in one of your names send a bunch that has each of your names of course with the address where you live at. Send affidavits signed by friends, family. if you could get a letter from your employer with the date you got hired. if you have a car, register it in both your names, send a copy of the title and registration. If you have house insurance with both of your names send it. If you want to write a contract with your brother for renting the house, do it with both your names and send it (of course your brother is not going to hold you on that). I hope I helped.

Ok guys I found one bank document which is regarding adding my wife on my credit card. It' states her personal information and her address on the top. I made a copy of that document which I found it. Also me and my wife were planning a trip overseas next summer so I had filled out her visa application in which it asked for spouse information and whose gonna travel with the applicant. So should also include both these documents? Do u think it will look overloaded ?

Yes we both have same driver license showing same address. Also we dont have children yet. I had applied for car loan bsck in February from three banks but got denied coz of limited credit history I have credit denial letters as well.

I did send the trip details to las vegas but that is insufficient according to them. I am also gonna get affidavit from friends as well

I just have a different question regarding RFE. Sorry Fahad am not trying to hijack your thread.

How come he got RFE already and he just filed in July?

I filed in May, does it mean any chances of receiving an RFE is gone for me now or?

Am really confused to when are RFE issued.

Thanks to any one who can explain to me.

In the beginning I was really surprised to see the mail from uscis coz even June filers haven't started to get approvals yet. To answer your question no that does not mean that you will get a rfe. So be patient and good luck.

Hi guys,

One update I wanna share with you guys... Today my wife gave me a really good news that she is pregnant. I am really happy and no words to describe my feelings. She still has to go and confirm from doctor but she did four over the counter prenancy test and they all came positive.

My question what kind of proof I can send to uscis in regards to my wife pregnancy. Should I ask doctor to write a letter for the pregnancy? And what details should be in the letter?

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on the pregnancy!! I am sure that once your wife goes to the doctor's and finds out how far long she is and also when her due date is you can get a legal letter stating that she is indeed pregnant and when is due and turn that in to USCIS they will take into consideration.

We too, got a RFE for my husband's ROC. I was really surprised because I thought for sure we had enough evidence. In the RFE it had listed things that they would take as evidence to support our marriage. I have a son from a previous marriage so they were asking for evidence that my husband was active in his life, like as the emergency contact for my son. My son is home schooled so we don't have anything like that from the school but we did send in evidence that he is listed as the emergency contact at his primary doctor's office and also at one of the hospitals that he had to take him to get a test done.

The RFE also wanted more evidence showing that we do live in the same house. I had bought the house and had our utilities set up in my name so when I tried to get my husband's name on the mortgage, I was told the only way I could do that was to have the house refinanced. Well with the economy being how it is, there was no way I was doing that. I ended up writing an affidavit myself and explaining this plus we had all ready submitted in copies of both of our driver's license, pieces of mail showing we both recieve mail to the same address. Copies of the title of one of our cars that had both of our names and address on, the registration of another car we have with the same thing, also copies of auto insurance cards of both of our vehicles.

Apparently they think that this information wasn't enough.

Also I had only sent in the first page of our bank statments from the time he had arrived showing that we are both on the accounts. They wanted ALL the pages showing actual activitiy in the bank accounts so I got copies from the bank of all the statements and flagged the activiites of his paycheck being direct deposited and also mine. From the moment he arrived until the month I submitted the paperwork. Plus in the first packet we showed that each one of us was the beneficiary for our life insurances but they wanted PROOF that the insurance was active and paid up to date so we sent in copies of our paycheck stubs showing that all insurances were active and paid up to date.

It's been a little over a month since we submitted in over 2 inches thick worth of proof they requested and still haven't heard anything. It's really making us nuts.:blush:

Good luck with your RFE!!1
