I called today and ask for a Service Request as we are 196 days into this. The woman I talked with was very nice. She said she will try to fill out the request as it will stop if we still inside their timeline. As she started filling out the Request it stopped her and prompt her that we have 7 more days until we fall out of status of allowable time. She said if I have not heard anything in 7 days to call back on the 8th day and ask to fill out the Service Ticket.

That's all I know. Wanted to pass this information along.

Happy Holidays.

Wife called today to see if we could put in a service request and they told her to not call back until the website shows a date after our priority date. If the date on the website is still before your priority date they will not be able to file a service request.

You are close to being approved, it will be about 7 months total for your K1. FYI if you fill in your information (time line etc.) you should get better responses. Good Luck.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Thanks BigDog. Unless something is not correct when you read my profile, our timeline is filled out.

Thanks again.....

Maybe they treat 130 (marriage visas) different then 129F fiancee. The lady I talked with was very nice and helpful. Maybe luck of the draw  Good luck!

The person you spoke to most likely was not a tier 2 officer. A tier 2 officer can just over ride that prompt which states that you cannot apply for a service request until a certain date. I got a service request on my November 27th and my NOA1 date is June 27th I was then approved 2 weeks later. I suggest calling again and speaking to a tier 2 officer.

Good luck

Not that it will make you feel that much better, but our May I-129F took 183 days between NOA1 and NOA2. Don't panic yet, I think they are just taking longer and longer as time goes on.

Good luck to all of you, I on the other hand have lost all faith and wait here with no resolve in sight now at ten months (302) days of waiting for my approval. Calling along with submitting service requests have been useles to me and I have been forced to hire an immigration lawyer to help with the process.

My first post.....We are July I-129F filers. Today is day 154. Watching similar timelines, the average from NOA1 to NOA2 is 172 days. VJ estimates January 20ish. This also falls in line with USCIS timelines if you extrapolate from the most recent update (Oct 30). It really does seem to be "the luck of the draw" when all statistics point to an estimated approval date, then you read here about couples who are still waiting waiting waiting way past projections. I know each case is different, but this process seems so random at times, which makes a hard situation even harder. At least we are getting a short respite by getting to spend the holidays together; I fly out Sunday.

Good luck and I sincerely hope you get some good news to make your holidays a little brighter!

Thanks to all for their insight. This is my 2nd time filing as I broke an engagement off in 2007. Due to this I am certain they are in my former file so indeed my timeline is expected to be longer. I just felt like calling to check status. I will ask for tier 2 Officer when I CX am back after the Holidays. I'm patient to an extent. Thanks again and Happy Holidays
