HEy guys!!! well i was reading around trying to inform my self about this whole Waiver thing...

Well anybody know how a waiver is known to to be "READILY APPROVABLE"? aparently Ciudad, Juarez office checks if the

waiver is readily approvable for it to be processed fast. but how do they know if it is? help please :help:

oh yes..sorry my husbands waiver is needed because he has been in the US longer that 180 days. He has no criminal records or any deportation or anything.

and he will be waiting in Mexico for his waiver to be approved...does this help? ask me i will do my best to explain :)

I believe that is the one where they will approve really quickly. I have a in-law cousin who had the same issue with her husband. I was shocked at how quickly he got back to the US. I think it was less than 2 months or something.

WOW!!! I am really hoppimg thats our case too 2 months is very quick . The thing is that how do the offoces that approve the waiver know if tha waiver is Readily Approvable?

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

It seems that the guidelines and procedures of waivers has since changed. Cuidad Juarez can no longer accept these waivers. They were previously allowed to, but not any more. The waiver is filed AFTER a denial and then must be sent to the Phoenix lockbox in the US. You can request them to expedite with an emergency basis, with proof. But if there is no emergency, it is taking 4 months for a decision. I learned this because my fiance too will require a waiver, in Mexico, due to being illegal for 8 years in the US without detection, record or being deported.
