NYC AOS interview for wife - evidence?

Hi all,

My wife entered the US on a fiancee visa approx. 1 year ago and we married shortly thereafter. Now one year later they are asking us to come into the NYC office to do an interview in January. We are somewhat nervous about all the evidence people are bringing along as we honestly don't have much of that stuff. For example we never bothered to open a joint account. It's no problem for me to change my account to a joint one, add her as a credit card user etc. but will the immigration officials notice or care that I did this right before the interview date?

As for the apartment lease, it only has my name on it because she didn't have a job or credit upon moving here, so I applied for our apartment alone.

We don't even have rings (they're expensive!)

We do have wedding pictures and some pictures with my parents, and obviously we know each other extremely well. Will that be enough?

For what it's worth my wife is from a low fraud country (think Western Europe).

Thanks everyone.

Even if the USCIS understand that newly-weds don't have much evidence of a joint-life, your case seems pretty weak.

Add her on your bank account. We were in the same case and we did it a week before our interview. It was not a problem.

Do you have joint bills? Joint health insurance cards? Does she have a ID card or Driver's license (to show that you live at the same address)?

Pictures are a good evidence too. Prepare some taken at your wedding, until now (and future ones until your interview).

Think of any good evidences that would show you guys are obviously living together.
