HCM City to house European visa application centre

Hello People,

Just stumble upon this news for you to read - “ The embassies of Italy and Spain in Vietnam in

collaboration with VFS Global on last Wednesday announced the forthcoming operation of the new

visa application centre in HCM City in January 3 of next year, allowing people to apply visas

for entry into these two countries.

The centre will open at the fourth floor of Resco Tower at 94-96 Nguyen Du Street in District

1. It will open from 8:30 am to 16:00 pm from Monday to Friday. With the new centre,

all foreigners as well as Vietnamese people in HCM City can apply for Schengen visas there

rather than having to fly to the capital city of Hanoi to perform visa procedures.”

Also, I came to know that there will be separate submission facilities for travel agents

and individuals. so, one can choose the option how they want to go ahead with it.

Thanks for sharing the information. I would like to know, how many visa application

centers do they (VFS Global) have across the world?

Also, what are the charges, if i had to apply for tourist visa?

As required, here is the Information for your reference.

a) VFS Global has over all 775 visa application centres around the globe.

b) For tourist visa, you have to view the checklist of charges for visiting

different countries with respect to number of days you want to stay in one particular

location. For more details, you can visit the VFS Global website.
