It took 2 months for me to see my status online. They will not inform you by mail or on the website if your case is transferred to a local office. The only way to find out that information is for the USC to call and talk to an ISO.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Does anybody know if or how long NBC will transfer I-130 to a field office? I am still unable to check the status of my application. I gave up already.

They might, they might not.

It took over a month for my case to become visible, be patient. :innocent:

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Just called USCIS and spoke with a customer service rep. he knew nothing. Asked m ewhy i would have a I-130 with a msc recipt number. I knew more then he did. He gave me no information and when i asked to speak with an iso he ignored my request. so fustrating any advise????

He can't ignore your request and you must keep insisting that you get transferred, tell him that you'll file a complaint if he does not.

You need an ISO.

Please get an ISO.

An ISO can see your casefile info, a CSR cannot.

It took 2 months for me to see my status online. They will not inform you by mail or on the website if your case is transferred to a local office. The only way to find out that information is for the USC to call and talk to an ISO.

My online status is showing that it was transferred to a field office. After that though, no changes online even though we got a NOID.

Well that's different.... I have no idea where mine is, just that the Denver field office had about 1600+ I-130 2 months ago and now over 2000. I have a feeling I'll be like the Atlanta filers and cursing this system. Considering that CSC has now caught up and are on Aug 14 too. Oh well. I was prepared for 5 months of waiting so I might as well sit back and relax. LOLblush.gif C'mon MARCH!! heheheh

Mine was never transferred to a local office. It stayed in Missouri and my online status did not change until the NOA2 was sent. I was never able to see it online. It always said my case could not be found. So don't go by what "normal" seems to be because it seems that there are many many different ways things are being processed.

I know my case was exceptionally speedy compared to others. I have NO complaints to make at all and was shocked when one day I decided to go look, even though my case status had been the same for 39 days. All of a sudden it changed.

So try to be patient. Focus on preparing other aspects of you case for the next stage. And know that each case is handled individually and that all the trends and predictions are helpful, but not to rely on them for comfort. The way I've been looking at it is to think about each passing day as it being one day closer to the final one. Whether anything happens that day or not, that we're aware of, progress is still being made in the background.

MsHogan, I do feel the same way as you. I signed up for email and text alerts. And I have not gotten an email stating it was transfered to a local office. So as far as I believe my case is still at NBC.
