I'm back with still another question. I think I have a good idea now of the documents I have to take with me. And I know it costs $100 to get the papers from the consulate in Casablanca. But could anyone give me an estimate of how much the entire process will cost? I know we need to pay for translations. I know we have to have medical exams but don't know how much these costs. I know we have to pay some money to the court. I realize no one can tell me exactly what this will cost but if anyone could give me an estimate I would appreciate it. For example, will it probably cost more than $500? More than $1000? I'm a little clueless on this. Thanks.

Yes certainly he can get the answers to these questions. Sorry if I have been a bit of a pain with all the questions. I am sort of a worrier and very detail oriented so I am just asking for anyone that has gone through the process. I also tend to perhaps over-research everything. Sorry if I am asking too many questions. Just trying to get an idea of what to expect.

What i gave you covers even the expenses of having your marriage license (English translation) notarized and recognized by the ministry of foreign affairs, which makes it valid for use at the USCIS & NVC levels.

Please ask the translator to print 4 or 5 copies of the English version of your marriage license (the translator signs and seals the sheets otherwise the prints aren't valid for any usage) that way, you can notarize those copies and get them ready to use in the future during the USCIS & NVC stages, we are grateful for our translator who became our friend and who saved us money, time & energy, she recommended us extra copies which later were needed, otherwise, we would have gone to ministry of foreign affairs over and over, not to mention that she's officially associated with the U.S consulate in Casablanca and located right around the corner from it, she did great reduction for us comparing to other translators, we actually do love her very much.

Thank you so much for the detailed information. That gives me a very good idea of what we need to expect. I really appreciate it very much.

I'm glad now you have an idea.

Until you get your marriage accomplished and come back to the states, then, please let us know of how the process went for you & costs ! by the way, if u need the translator's information, PM me.

Good Luck

Hello

I am looking to have a destination wedding in Morocco. Did you ever do it? how did it go?

Are you marrying a Moroccan? The process for marrying a Moroccan is complicated and can take weeks. I got married there last November, you can send me a private message for details on the process.

If you're just looking to have a fun Moroccan wedding, but not marrying a Moroccan , I'd suggest contacting a resort
