I 130 august filer

I've noticed that Vermont is the worst at keeping petitions in "order". Everyone else seems to stay on track and you can pretty much tell when you are about to be adjudicated by the numbers around you, but Vermont is just all over the place. I wonder why?

Sent in paperword end of May - June 4th is our priority date - haven't head anything. I would wait another month or so before calling again if I were you - there are still tons of ppl before you to get approved. Hopefully they will speed up since Vermont is smoving slo. Boo! Good luck to everyone.

My husband sent our I 130 in June 13 in Vermont , and we still don't hear nothing from them. We called them already 3 times and nothing new, they told us that they have too much work now and we must wait!!! Already 6 month since we received NOA 1,we don't hear any news from them. (Sorry for my not good English).

Did your case was transferred to NBC. NBC is much faster than Vermont and that what I am referring to. I know that Vermont is very slowdown but NBC is moving smoothly but not really for august filers.

Our documents now in Vermont, they didn't send our documents nowhere......I tried find information about NBC here, and i couldn't. Can you describe what does NBC mean? Thanks.

It will be exactly 7 month since our documents was sent in Vermont.I red many stories about people who was approved in 4,5 even 3 month, but almost all those people was approved in California Center.... Our documents now in Vermont, they didn't send our documents nowhere......I tried find information about NBC here, and i couldn't. Can you describe what does NBC mean? Thanks.

Sorry for the late response. NBC usually they don t process the I 130 that s why they don t even have processing time for I 130 if you look it at at the website. However, whenever they have an overwhelming cases in some of their regular offices they send some of the files to the NBC to pick up some files and help out. Some people get their approval directly from the NBC office and some cases are returned back to the original office where they first filed. NBC stand for NATIONAL BENEFICIARY CENTER.

I called yesterday and I asked to speak to a tier 2. I waited exactly an hour until a African american officer responded. She was short with her answers. I asked her where is physically my file existing? is it still in the NBC office or was send somewhere else? she did not like that question and she told me is not an area of my concern to know where is my file at this period of time and she told me you can ask about the processing time. I told her yes I need to know when I should except something she said after a 5 months from your priority date. I told her the reason I asked that question to make sure my filed is not lost. She told me no it is not and everything is there and I have just to wait. and she asked me if they asked me about evidences I told her no and she said everything looks fine. I told her there are people who filed after me and already get approved. She said each case differ from each individual. I could not argue more than that. I said let me hang off before she get pissed off although she did not make sense in her last answer because what come first should be server first. but I guess that the us immigration. no sense.

She seemed to know that mine was still at NBC but answered it in a "are you that stupid that you didn't realize it was there" type of way.

Nobody is intentionally delaying some files. Just relax a little.

I am relax. but wait until they put your case on hold for 6 months or more and at the same time you will be seeing people filed months after you getting approved you going to stressed out no matter how much calm you are.
