It sounds good on paper, but in most cases, killing someone isn't as glam as they make it out to be in the movies. In all of the cases when I had live ammo on me and a loaded weapon, you just pray you don't have to shoot someone. But if this would happen now, the training takes over and you just take out the threat. I still remember how to do S.P.O.R.T.S and that are over 15 years ago.

Who gives a fck about Alaska? I swear, if a thread isn't turned into something about Alaska, it's about Vermont. There are other states in the country. I promise.

At this rate you will become like Bad Daddy and Gary, talking about Canada, don't give in to the dark side

Most on here will tell you, we don't want to get rid of people's guns, just want more strict vetting processes. That way guns don't end up in the wrong hands.

USMC is still DON by the way

I was responding to your USMC joke, I am a vet myself and I am all about protection. I don't want to get rid of guns, I want the vetting process to be tougher, like getting a clearance in the military, they dig all in your background, make it the same for gun owners, it won't catch all, but it might save more people than we know.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

If the gun owners want their guns bad enough, they can pay for it.

One entrance and one exit implies poor life safety standards. There need to be multiple exits in cases of fire or other emergencies. Windows are not adequate to comply with these standards.

I understand what your saying. But you can have multiple exits that are not entrances. I am only speaking about what i have seen at my son's elementary school. During school hours most of the entrances are unlocked. I know they have to be because of the school hours. But having those doors unlocked pose a threat to the kids. I don't know what other elementary schools are like around the country but i am sure that my son's school is not the only one. I live in Broken Arrow Ok and the superintendent has already anounced new policies to tighten the security at the schools due to the connecticut incident.
