Hello everyone, I have a question. I recently lost my health insurance recently because i am self employed and had a severe health problem. I am the USC. I was dropped by my insurance company and have been unable to find coverage because of prexisting conditions. I am in the process of K-1 visa and was wondering if anyone was asked at interview for proof of health insurance.

No they won't ask that. And even if you don't qualify for insurance you can always get one for your fiancé when she arrives or get married. Unless you rather just pay for whatever medicals she might need in the future. An insurance is not a a requirement to get the visa.

Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​

There is no health insurance requirement.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

No requirement.

Side note: try looking into a high risk pool in your state. They are for people who can't get insurance because of a pre-existing condition.

Not an issue.....but how will you pay for your fiance's health insurance...and any kids?

It is not an issue of paying, it is an issue that the insurance refuses to cover the OP because of his condition. Assuming the fiance is in good help, she shouldn't have a problem getting insurance.
