Hi everyone, I wanna join as a December filler too.Actually we are November fillers / 11-9-2012 we sent papers to our lawyer / But our receiving date is 12-6-2012/We got our NOA1 hard copy at 12/13/12So we passed trough it a month , 5 more to go...My fiancee just landed in USA from his second visit in my countryWe spent wonderful 14 days together , wonderful holidays , our first Christmas and new year together He just left Bulgaria / 24 hours ago/ and I miss him sooo muchHope we will be together soon - the three of usI wish everyone fast journey to their beloved God bless us all

Aww, I'm happy to hear that you were able to spend Christmas and New Years with your Fiance. That must have been great! Good luck on your journey and welcome to the group! :thumbs:

12/28/12; NOAI Received

01/01/13; Alien Rgistration Number Change

With the Alien Registration Number Change, does it mean our NOA2 is soon on the way just like some people miraculously had theirs.???? A check on the USCIS website still says its under Initial Review.

Just made December... filed Dec 31st... Still waiting for NOA1... After hearing horror stories of petitions lost in the mail... I'll be a nervous wreck until I get it! :wacko:

Hey there! It seems more likely that the change of alien registration number is either a glitch or just a change in the process of when they assign the number. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's a miracle, just in case :P

12/31/2012 - Alien Number changed (NOA1 hardcopy in post, but was away for 2 weeks prior)

05/20/2013 - NOA2 hardcopy received in post

05/28/2013 - NVC receives packet and assigns London case number

07/15/2013 - Sent all paperwork/medical complete

08/23/2013 - Receive Interview Date

One of the members of our group here actually called USCIS and confirmed that yes, it is a "glitch". However, there have been a few people who had this "glitch" occur and then NOA2 about a month later. Could just be a coincidence, but we are all hoping for a fast approval after receiving this "Glitch". Good luck! :thumbs:

all this mumbo jumbo about alien registration change...until i see APPROVED and the confirmation for it...I'm not setting my hopes too high. lol

Of course, after USCIS I'll be dealing with Vietnam Consulate...

one month down...5 more to go! or rather...3 weeks down...erm....whatever it is.lol :rofl:

Thanks for the update. I was thinking that it was when an "Alien number" was assigned to our beneficiary. I wish they were all on the same page! :wacko:

I'm waiting on ONE w-2 and like 4-5 different tax forms from school loans and 401k accounts so I can file taxes.

Anyone hear anything about delay in refunds???
