Well I'm guessing they will be processed by that date. approval, denial or more documents/or interview, but not setting in a stack of papers. it was nice to talk to someone who was willing to find out answers and not just reply with the prescripted government replys.

Thank you for your post. Another VJ member posted that we should be assigned a Adjudicator .. and we should be hearing something within the next week. Please see the transferred petitions thread. Just wanted to let you guys know, in case you haven't checked out the new postings from last night.

Hi, Ismail+Cassie.. I had a question.. are you guys going to go to the Embassy in Ankara? That's where my Fiance will go .. hopefully when I get my NOA2 since I was transferred. Did NVC assign you a date yet? Does it take long? Thanks for reading..

I'm glad that things seem to finally be moving for the VSC-Texas people. Ramsey, I'm sorry your RFEs are taking so long, that's crazy.

We got our Packet 3 via e-mail today. I just have to go pick up my letter from my employer, who has taken longer than I wanted with it. I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks for it. But that will be mailed off tomorrow, and our packet of everything will be mailed in to Sydney in about a week. Yay!

Hey! I still havent gotten the email...grr haha but why havent u joined the may NVC filers? I dont like them all very much. They just seem to complain and get jealous instead of help eachotther out and congratulate...I love my december filers!!

12/5 NOA1: My case is also transferred back to TX from VSC. I called TX and they guy told me that it could take up to 2 more months since they are processing 10/25/12 cases. It doesn't make sense. I think he is wrong. My fiancé and I feel so down now. I am reading other comments and hoping that he is wrong.

I didn't even know there was such a thing! I just stuck around here and since the NVC went so fast, I just skipped over that and hopped over to the Australia/New Zealand board Maybe I was better off? Haha!

I like the fact that there are some of us who still check in here even though we already have NOA2. This is just more like home. Plus this is for the K1 journey I thought? Not just the NOA2. We should hunt down our quiet peeps and remind them that some of our family members still need our support! Even as I can see the light at the end of the tunnel brighter each day, I still haven't forgotten about all the people who started this journey with me and who are still waiting.

Anyone else who is getting closer still afraid to plan their wedding? I'm pretty sure we'll make the date we want, and it's not like we are planning a grand event, but I've been procrastinating doing anything. Maybe because I don't want to jinx it. Or something. I am just now going shopping for a dress on Saturday. Eep!

This visa issue has been definitely adding some stress to my relationship as well so I totally understand. Luckily, I will be visiting her in 3 weeks to spend some quality time and explain to her about this whole mess. I was hoping to bring her back to the States with me but it's looking more and more like that may not happen. Trying to stay optimistic though and praying every night for a miracle. Hang in there !

My fiance and I fight too sometimes, and the long distance obviously amplifies the issue because you don't have that person there to hold and hug and reassure. Many problems would otherwise be resolved within minutes but the distance is a killer. We must do our best to stay optimistic and keep telling the other person that it will all be okay very soon, and we will have a lifetime of happiness and if the love is strong and rock solid, it will endure anything. May this be the first big test for the relationship

Thanks hun, good luck to you too! With my petition being transferred with thousands of others... I feel like im the one to blame because of VT's delay... He always asks me on a daily basis.. "did our NOA2 come in the mail.." and my heart breaks .

I wish you all luck... and i hope for the very best.. if it were up to me, I would approve every single person ... ASAP... Good luck to you all! And be strong in this journey.. one day.. we will all remember these days... and remember, the distance will make all of us stronger.. and we will live a better life !

NVC doesnt assign a date, they just sent it to ankara then now ankara sent us the email stating what we need to take..its the same list as if you just google..us embassy ankara k1..on their website its always up there! Were not rushing though so were not gonna make our appointment yet!
