Hi guys one question .. I asked this one on some other topic but since I'm Dec filer it's better to ask you guys... so my fiancé's didn't put his e-mail on I-129f , so will that be a problem when they finally approved us and want to sent us case number, instructions about next step etc. :)

I hope this will come really soon :D

Ellli, in order to get all those notifications, you will need to create an account at www.uscis.gov and add your case number to "My Portfolio" and then check E-mail and/or text alerts.

Good luck on your journey! :)

Sincerely,
Ramsey

Any dec filers get noa2 yet... We filed on 12/12 thru the vsc. I see there are a lot of November filers being approved.

My noa1 is DEC 4 and havent heard anything yet. But really looks that they approve ppl with their noa1 in november so not too far away! :)

Hang in there guys!

I was using Igor's List as a better source of information than case numbers close to ours, and every day there are a few extra December filers being approved (we got NOA1 on 31 December and were approved on Friday). It really looks like they're trying to get back to the 5 month deadline by the end of May, which is great news for us December filers (though I feel very sorry for the July - October filers who are seeing later petitions being approved and are still waiting). There are 44 still awaiting NOA2, 11 of those have had an RFE, so over 2/3 of the December filers have either been approved or got an RFE, and if they keep up their current processing rate of 3 a day, all the December filers will have been processed by the end of May. Even if you get an RFE, it looks as though they process those pretty quickly after they're returned. (Yes, I have been spending WAY too much time on Igor's List in the last month!!!)

Excitement for us December filers! I hope all will be done at the end of the month. Fingers cross! :)

I also filed on Dec 27th and today when I log to check my status, the date changed to today's date. Previously it was showing January 8th number was changed and today it says on 05/13 number was changed relating to you fiancee petition. My case is at California Service Center.

Hope it means it will come soon. Good luck to all !

Naisha, to answer your question, that is totally normal. The same thing happened to me and has happened to every single filer I know who got an RFE. Basically, they really don't send out the hardcopy until the second notice (I got mine 9 days later and I live in California, right next to the service center). So don't worry, this is business-as-usual for the USCIS, just be happy that they got to your file and hope that it's not an overly complicated RFE. I sent mine back the next day after getting the evidence, overnight mail and they received it the next day.

Good luck :)

Sincerely,
Ramsey
