Oh, elusive NOA2. Finally, you are mine!

I had some kind of psychic feelings it would come... and I got it. (Note: I am not claiming to be psychic, although I do have great timing with regards to knowing exactly when the microwave oven will beep, or an alarm clock will go off... maybe it applies :P )

Strangely, they didn't update my case on the internet, but I received the hard copy today -- it was issued on April 11.

What would Xenu do?

That is so weird! Glad you got it regardless :D

Congratulations duraaraa and all the December filers! This makes me so happy to see as my NOA-1 is dated December 24, 2012. I was losing hope and thinking that I would not get my NOA-2 until next September/October but you guys have given me a lot of hope :) I hope the CSC keeps those NOA-2's coming because they have a biiiiig back-log! God bless you all and may you be reunited with your loved ones soon :star:

Sincerely,
Ramsey

I suggest you check numbers close to yours on the USCIS website for an idea of how close to your date they are processing. For example, if your number is WAC12345, check WAC12344 and WAC 12343 and see how their progress is. That is what made me get an eerie feeling of incoming news.

What would Xenu do?

Checking that right now, thanks for the heads up, buddy! It seems as though most of the numbers around mine are still in Initial Review but then again my filing date is later than yours so I will give it a few weeks (or even months) and see what happens B-) UPDATE: Just checked the I-129F that is roughly 8 numbers before mine and they got an RFE already!! hopefully that means it's getting close

I don't want to give you a false sense of hope or anything, but if eight numbers ahead of you got an RFE recently, I think you have a good chance of being approved, or at least receiving an RFE, very soon. In fact, it's possible you were already approved without an update on the website, like me, and it just hasn't gotten to your mailbox yet. Have you checked numbers after your own?

I soooo hope you're right about that !! Receiving my NOA-2 or RFE soon would be AMAZING for my fiance and I, it would mean our wedding plans are definitely on schedule. I just checked 20 numbers after mine and they are all Initial Review, after that it's I-539 applications. I was so stressed about this and now you've definitely made me so much more relieved :) I hope you are reunited with your love very soon and wish you the best of luck in the rest of your journey B-)

Sincerely,
Ramsey

So, i looked manually at the 100 closest cases to mine. They seemed to mostly be around Dec 14th to 20th, but of course you can't tell exactly because they only show the date of the most recent activity.

Here's a breakdown of what's going on

Of the 100 there are

40 Employment related applications

- 20 Have been transferred

- 12 are in initial review

- 4 have been approved

- 4 were filed incorrectly

37 DACA

- 21 have been transferred

- 10 are in initial review

- 3 have been approved

- 3 have got RFE

17 Fiancee

- 7 have got RFE

- 5 have been approved

- 5 are in initial review

6 Other

Of the Fiancee applications, the 12 RFE and Approved were ALL dated from 4-10-2014 to 4-15-2013, with 3 on the 10th, 1 on the 11th, 4 on the 12th, 2 on the 13th (hey, they work Saturdays!), and 2 on the 15th.

So, it would seem that the 5 fiancee still to be processed in this range would be very likely approved this week!

Of course i meant 4-10-2013, not 2014!
