My fiance and I booked my trip to go see him in a few weeks! Going for 15 days to London and hoping that it doesn't mess up my work schedule too much

Enjoy guys! How i wished that i traveled too when he asked me to go to South Africa, unfortunately they didn't allow me to file a vacation leave at work. He is always busy at work so the best way to be with him is to follow him to countries where he is scheduled for work.

Anyway, have a great time together and have a safe trip... good luck to all of us!!!

That's cool that you get to follow him to new places sometimes! The best part about being a freelancer is not having to answer to anyone when I want a holiday. The worst part is never knowing how much money will be made day by day XD

I very nearly changed my flight to tomorrow about four hours ago The show I'm currently working on is going over to London for the next two weeks and I almost went with them to work it. Just couldn't justify the cost of changing flights to be out of LA for a whole month right now - it's pilot season after all.

Well someone on this site said if you are positive you are in this (relationship) for foreverrrrrrr these months are nothing compared to the rest of your life. Not only do i agree but its brought my anxiety down

Ya exactly, recently I've been keeping myself so busy, friends, work, family, I don't even think about it as much. I know that these months are nothing compared to when he gets here, I have him everyday, forever and ever....every every day. Jut make sure years from now u all remember this pain and remember this wait. We r lucky we get to feel this early right now, don't take advantage later when u get bored of him or her like other couples. Other couples got to always be together(most of them) and I constant,y tell them how lucky they r for many things and to stop taking each other for granted before its too late!

im being realistic, if we're done before 9 months, i will be utterly shocked and surprised... human beings are created quicker than the time its taking to bring over our loved ones... ugh

frequent trips.. its killing my pockets, but its the only way i can survive this distance and time its taking.

i got a second job to keep myself busy, but all im doing it using the extra funds to travel, defeating the purpose i know but oh well lol
