I only sent my payment and the application...

I technically haven't filed yet...but will be sending my application this week. hoping to get NOA1 and check cashed before the new year...and if all goes well my loved ones will be here with me by Christmas! Or SOONER!!! Wishful thinking but a girl can dream :D

Yeah, it would be nice before the holidays but I don't think the Service Centers are moving along at that pace! :(

7 months top for NOA2 right? 8 months maybe? give and take 2-4 months...well okay then...not 2013 chinese new year but 2014 chinese new year! That's my goal for my loved ones to be here...

Sending mine off today or tomorrow. Will be updating timeline once completed.

NOA1 12/7/12. Hoping a miracle!! Realistically, expecting April-May to receive NOA2, if things go to their usual pace. What I understood that timeline on USCIS page refers to getting visa from the time of application and averages out to be 6 months. If you subtract 2 months of NVC & Consulate processing, then I should hear within 4 months from NOA1. Please correct me if you know for sure that I am wrong. Thanks
