hi to all my fellow vj i just want to ask something about the ds 156 form.. if i am in fiance visa/ k1 type of application how will i answer this..questions number

26. How Long Do You Intend To Stay in The U.S.? (I AM IN K1/ FIANCE VISA TYPE OF APPLICATION HOW AM I GOIN TO ANSWER THE QUESTION?)

27. What is The Purpose of Your Trip? ( THIS TOO? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MY TRIP TO US?)

32. Do You Intend To Work in The U.S.? Yes No (THIS IS ACTUALLY EASY BUT THEN THE INCLUDE THE NAME AND COMPLETE ADDRESS OF US EMPLOYER, WHICH I DONT HAVE AN EMPLOYER?)

(If YES, give the name and complete address of U.S. employer.)

39. Was this Application Prepared by Another Person on Your Behalf? Yes No..( DO I NEED TO PUT MY PETITIONER'S NAME IF HE IS THE ONE OR THEY ARE PERTAINING TO AN AGENT OR LAW FIRM ASSISTING ME, I AM THE BENEFICIARY, IN PREPARING MY APPLICATION)

(If answer is YES, then have that person complete item 40.)

40. Application Prepared By:

NAME: Relationship to Applicant:

ADDRESS:

Signature of Person Preparing Form:____________________________________________ DATE (dd-month-yyyy)__________________________

41. I certify that I have read and understood all the questions set forth in this application and the answers I have furnished on this form are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. I understand that any false or misleading statement may result in the permanent refusal of a visa or denial of entry into the United States. I understand that possession of a visa does not automatically entitle the bearer to enter the United States of America upon arrival at a port of entry if he or she is found inadmissible.

APPLICANT'S SIGNATURE____________________________________________ DATE (dd-month-yyyy) ___________________________

HOW CAN I PUT MY SIGNATURE IN THERE IF THIS IS WILL NOT BE PRINTED.. HAVE TO CLICK CONTINUE, OR IS IT OK TO CLICK THE CONTINUE WITH OUT THE SIGNATURE MY SIGNATURE THE JUST SIGN IT UPON PRINT IT....

I CAN PUT N/A IN THE SPACE PROVIDED HERE IF I DONT HAVE AN ANSWER ON IT RIGHT...

THIS IS DIFFERENT WITH OTHER FORMS SO A HELP FROM YOU GUYS ARE WELL APPRECIATED

You cannot sign it before printing it out, of course. Also, some consulates do not want you to sign the form until your interview so you can sign it in front of them. Check what it is required for yours.

Yes, it's okay to "Continue" it will open the entire form, with all your information on it, in a PDF viewer. You print it from there and then sign it.

All it does when you fill it out online, which you have to do, is put a barcode on it. From what I understand, if you miss some information, the barcode will not be on the form when you print it.

Good luck!

26. PERMANENTLY

27. MARRIAGE AND RELOCATION TO USA

32. YES, WITH EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. EMPLOYER UNKNOWN.

39. This is really self explanatory, did you fill this form out yourself, or did someone fill it out for you? If you did not fill out this form, then you should check YES. If you did fill this form out yourself, then check NO.

41. When you click continue after you finished filling in the form, you will get a printable document that you should print. This is when you should be signing the forms at this spot.
