Hi everyone,

We're December filers as well and we have a quick question.

We submitted our AOS package along with I-864 using 2011 tax transcript. Will USCIS request an updated tax return or tax transcript for 2012?

I think we all did the same, I don't think so, as that was the current years taxes when we filed.

I sure hope so. I don't usually complete my tax return until October through extension. I'd hate to think getting RFE for updated tax return.

I would doubt it... considering 2011 was the current one when we filed. But, I did think about that fact myself! I just submitted the most current one that I had. I would hate to imagine that they would RFE everyone who filed during this time.

Your biometric appointment letter should be arriving soon. We got our notification letter 3 days after USCIS cashed the check.

Same here! We also got the texts and emails on Jan 2! Check cashed, AP and EAD under initial review but AOS only says Acceptance (first light) and that they have accepted our fingerprint fee! We were worried about its meaning since we are used to seeing the old "Initial Review". However, seeing your post assured us that we are on the right track :D hope we both receive the appointment letter soon
