Hey guys! Long time without posting, but I always read the comments people post about there updates.

I guess it was our time, we finally received my wife's green card today. We filed on the 27th of December, 2012 adjusting from a K1 visa. We decided not to file an e-request, and just wait our time.

We also did not receive any heads up by email or text message.

Upon looking at the Green Card, I noticed that it expires in 2 years (2015) and I was wondering what we needed to do to get another one?

I wish everyone luck in getting theirs SOON! dancin5hr.gif

I hope that helps! My husband just received his GC after 9 months and 1 week. I had contacted my Senator's office and also put in a service request online at about the 8.5 month mark. Good luck!

It did help. We faxed our request to Barbara Boxer's office on Monday and today we received email that the GC in production dancin5hr.gif

We checked USCIS and our status stated that USPS has delivered our GC. The tracking number also stated that it was delivered on the 26th. However, we didn't get any mail from USCIS. Contacted USPS and we're waiting for their response. To wait for this long and now this happened. blink.png

We went our post office carrier route and the so-called shift supervisor insisted that they delivered our GC. Further, after on hold for 118 minutes with USCIS, we have to wait for 30 days before calling them again to check if our GC is returned. If it returned to USCIS, they will send us with no fee. Otherwise, we have to file I-90 with $450 fee. This is so ridiculous.

Yup, do you know what's the kicker? USCIS customer service told us that due to the current Federal "shutdown", they expect everything to be delayed including inqury about our returned GC.

We're thinking about submitting Obudsman with our case,

On the form for #8 and #9, there are option for "Other".
