Hello fellow Decemberers :D

we got an email 2 days ago (August 3) saying that my wife's GC is in production :D :D :D 7 months and 9 days with no interview!

What's funny is that we left the US on August 1 for a month trip to my wife's country (we are now in Iran) with my wife's passport and EAD/AP card and now the GC is sitting in our mailbox back home :))))))

Congrats

Phase I - IV - Completed the Immigration Journey

Hey December filers! I don't post in this thread very often but I've been reading it since our AOS file date. Anyway, I just got the email that my husband's card is in production. I called the USCIS last week, and as of then, his file was still at MSC, so I'm not sure if he was processed there or at our local office in Chicago, but either way, no interview was required and we're excited to receive his card!

Hi all I'm back, my Husband and I called the USCIS last week to find out what's the hold up? At first I was told his app is @ the NBC then they told us we are within our processing time being that NY is up to oct 28th. That has been since May 31st of this year. I really don't understand why they don't update the system, its August and they are reflecting May... how about june now...

Anyhow congrats to those that have been approved and to those that are able to submit service requests... God well it won't be much longer of a wait for us all

Congratulations! I guess this incompetent bunch was at least able to do SOMETHING right. I am still nervously waiting, probably will be another couple of months until they make it to my file...

I put in an e-request, we will see what happens.

In 2 more weeks, it will be our 60 days since we received a letter from USCIS after we filed e-request. We will be sending Barbara Boxer's office the privacy release form to inquiry about our AOS. We're contacting her because our district congresswoman does not handle immigration inquiry request. Now that August is halfway over, we're all past the normal processing time for AOS.

We checked our mailbox tonight and we received RFE from USCIS for i-693. It's been almost a year since medical prior K-1 interview. For those who are still waiting for AOS, you may receive the same RFE.

Will you do a new medical or go just to a civil surgeon?

We will need a full medical exam again by a civil surgeon and request to transcribe the vaccination into I-693. So, now we're looking at additional cost of AOS between $175 to $300. We're hoping our health insurance will pay for this medical exam.
