Yeah I feel your frustration but it isn't uncommon. I have read quite a number of people on VJ who experienced the same delay during AOS. I'm in NJ. Also, some people who filed after me got earlier appointments so I think it depends largely on the volume of applicants at a particular local office. You should probably make an inquiry when it gets to 30 days.

Hi another December filer here. I sent off my husband's AOS package on 12/20 but the chicago storm held up the delivery. The good thing is I sent it ups and I know it was received on the 24th, the bad news is they might not process it as it is the holiday season. So I am hoping I get the NOA1 tomorrow or mid of next week.

Welcome to all the new December filers! :)

I'm glad that we are all in good company here, waiting and waiting... at least we are in the same country as our spouses now!

I hope that everyone is passing the holidays well. It will be 2013 soon, yeah!

I'm not too obsessed with checking our status in the online thing but I checked tonight (my husband is Skyping with his mother so I'm just half-listening to them blabber in Spanish haha) and the EAD is in "Initial Review" and the AOS is in "Acceptance" :) I care more about the EAD at this point, hehehe!
