So, to all of you who already got their combo card, how long does it take them to produce the card? How many days between "ordering production" and actual shipping with USPS tracking number? Did you get a separate notification via text/e-mail when the card gets shipped?

Cheers!

It took us exactly 10 days to get the combo card in the mail from the approval email notification. On the 3rd day of the approval, we received notification with USPS tracking number.

So, something interesting happened today. Till yesterday, the USCIS site would say: "On February 13, 2013, we ordered production of your new card." on my I-765 case. However, after checking today, I see: "On February 19, 2013, we ordered production of your new card.". Are they ordering two cards for me? :P

I thought the same thing happened to me today, but when i re-read them, my second email said "production" in the status but below that it says they have mailed it.

Hi All

My EAD card went into production on 02/15/13 and today I received the notification that it was mailed. I called customer service and after waiting almost 30 mins, I received the tracking #. Seems as though even though the notification states that it is mailed, only the electronic shipping info is found when I tried to track the package, so hopefully I''ll receive the card by Friday.

Since I was already speaking to a level 2 rep ( level 1 reps does not have access to tracking info) I asked also about my i485 case status. The rep stated that since my case status changed to " testing & interviewing" on jan 23rd and my field office is in NY most likely I will have my interview late April and should receive my notification a month in advance.

Hope this info helps
