We will see, but I plan to do a service request in Aug. our field office is processing November.

By that the time you file the e-request, you'll have your GC already. content.gif

Remember, we're all rooting for August date to receive our GC...dry.png

Checking in once again... its been a while that I gave an update and I am grateful my husband has a job and he is able to travel. Looking at all the post I see we are all in the waiting boat; my field office is still on Oct 3rd as od April 30th... and that means for me I might not be getting a GC for him until Dec who knows could be earlier. I know it sounds crazy but I'm only praying we don't have to pay for the renewal. I'm sure the light @ the end of the tunnel is coming soon so stay strong.

Hey everyone! We got an e-mail from USCIS today. It doesn't say it is approved or denied, just that a decision has been made...does anyone know what this means? Also, when trying to check the current processing times, there is not an option for I-485 for immigrating family members. Where are you checking that?

Decision

On July 22, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

My friend who filed in December 2012 and had her biometrics in OKC on Jan 27 just got a notice to interview in August. Hopefully, we will get called up soon. I got my biometrics taken on Jan 7 at the same office and no updates..

cadyinhaiti: that's your approval. Congratulations!

Thanks jkb11!!! I had searched for that on VJ before I posted and couldn't find anything. Then after I posted, I used a different set of words and found it! I am on vacation and away from home right now, so this week of waiting for something in the mail will go by much faster!

Is your friend a K1? I am also in OKC and I think I would be pretty upset if I were to wait for 7-8 months just to get an interview.
