Interview set for March the 14th! Kinda nervous/ excited. My wife is definitely excited about it, she thinks it'll be funny like in the movie "The Proposal"

Congratulations! You've certainly come a long way from the delayed biometrics appointment letter

I guess you are done with USCIS till March 14th. I'm still waiting for my EAD to be mailed to me...

Dreading the 9-month wait for AOS approval

We too dreaded such thought of getting our AOS approval in 9 month or more due to our petition is still at NBC and not transferred to local USCIS for interview.

Hey everyone!

My EAD/AP was also aproved and is in production :D

The social security office still didn't want to change my name on the card. A month ago they sent a request to Homeland Security and told us that we will have a reply within two weeks, but nothing. I think somebody there must have made a mistake. When we opened my bank account they checked my number and said it belonged to somebody else and that my file was on hold because of HS  so we made an InfoPass appointment. The lady at USCIS was nice and said everything is fine and that I will soon get an interview appointment. SS still hasn't gotten back at us in the meantime ... The USCIS lady said they probably want the EAD card to change the name. Oh well, why not.

Good luck on your further journeys, fellow Decemberees!

I just checked the USCIS site and it says my interview is scheduled for March 21st

The only thing that struck me is that it says the interview will be at the National Benefit Center. I thought they would be held at the local office? Where is the NBC, does anybody know?

Online it will say it's at the NBC. I think it's just because of generality. Once you get your notice in the mail it will tell you the name of the exact location to go to as well as the time.

FYI: NBC is in Missouri
