Sent my packet 3.5 to embassy in Pakistan, how long is the wait for interview? and how do they contact you

The packet was sent and delivered the next day. We sent it by courier to the Islamabad embassy. They received it on December 7th. How long until we hear about an interview date? And do you guys know how they contact us back for the interview? Via email, phone or regular mail??
