*** Moving from CR-1 spopusal visa to K1 fiance visa ****

She will not get the visa. Differing religions and an ill father is not good enough reasons; you could have visited her, or met half way, or waited till the dad got better/ died, and met with a chaperone (this IS required in some religions and is totally fine).

If you want to safe time, withdraw your petition now, meet, take photos and keep evidence (hotel receipts, plane tickets etc), then file again.

Petition waiver? i had no idea there was such a thing!

Adeel once again the answer is still no! you have to meet her yaar!

the next thing is that she herself has to prove that she makes enough money to support you when you arrive to USA meaning her income has to be more then 18,000 dollars a year. but they really expect to see around 25,000 dollars a year which is above the poverty line. NO you can not get a co-sponcer the cosponcer is only for K3 visa in Islamabad embassy

hi...i am new here........my fiance has submitted 129f petition on 02.08.2012...and my petition is accepted..and is processing....but we never met in person..when my fiance write a cover letter..then she wrote that in our religion oth muslim and christian did not allow to meet before marry...i ant to ask u that will they approved me or nott....i am very thankful to u.

i aam not saying that islam and christian does not alow to meet before marry....my fiance told me she cannot come....her father is ill and also she live alone...and so many reason......but guys tell mee if my petition approve and the time of interview she is with me.then

How can your fiancee claim to the US government that your religions did not allow you to meet when you state that's not what you are claiming. Which is the truth? Did your fiancee lie to the US government?

A sick father and living alone are not good reason to waive the 2 years meeting requirement. Lots of people have sick parents. Lots of women live alone in the US. Nothing special about any of that.

i think i post a wrong wordss..i explain...................my fiance is not rich....daily pay basis......when she ssubmit petition..with petition she request a waiver with petition...now my questiion is if petition and waiver is accepted then us embassy will give me visa or not?

No. The US Embassy makes the decision. NO ONE ELSE MAKES THE DECISION ON GRANTING A VISA. The US Embassy decides on the waiver.

Given he situation, I would withdraw the petition. Your fiancee already lied on her cover letter that was submitted with the I-129F petition. Withdraw it before it is reviewed. You will not get your petition approved no matter what. However, if you withdraw now at least they will not put on record that you (your fiancee) lied. Withdraw it, meet in person (Mexico, if necessary), apply again.

It is extremely difficult to get a waiver of the requirement to have met in person at least once within the previous two years.

Your fiance's petition will be denied by USCIS and your case won't even be forwarded to the embassy.

To the OP. Not to be rude but what part of NO do you not understand? The visa will be denied for all the reasons stated above.

The answer, again, is NO. NO, no and no. Waiver will be denied and so will the petition. You won't even have an interview. Please understand that. Instead of asking the same question, call your fiance and ask her to withdraw the petition. Don't let her spend all that money given she barely has any. She will need to prove she's able to take care of you financially. So, pretending the petition would be approved, she will still need to show the government she has enough money to sponsor you (or a co-sponsor).

So the answer continues to be no.

Pretending the petition is approved and there's no misrepresentation you will need to pass an interview knowing basically everything about your fiance and showing proof that you met.

So the answer continues to be no.

Pretending your petition is approved and you pass the interview, you will go through AP- administrative processing. They will find out everything, including the attempt of petitioning for you without having met you and lying about the religious requirement.

So the answer continues to be no.

Again, be responsible and stop asking for a visa. Instead, ask her how can you meet her.

This already sounds like..... a red flag.

OP, the plain answer is "No". Even if your petition was approved and everything got sent to the embassy, you cannot be approved based on your reasons for not meeting in person. For one, you lied about religious differences (most likely an outright denial of visa without any questions). Second, financial reasons will be a denial since your fiance(e) must be able to financially support you.

Agreeing with all the other suggestions to withdraw the petition and meet in person before reapplying.

I am the USC/petitioner.
