it's now reported that the pistols were a sig sauer 9mm, a glock 10mm, and the rifle a bushmaster. so as i thought, it wasn't a sig sauer 223 like you earlier stated. i know those are quite expensive!

that was my point far earlier. yet some erroneously think sig sauer = rifle. i've seen plenty of sig sauer pistols - never a sig sauer rifle.

Sig-Sauer imported a sporting rifle that was marketed by Colt in the 80's and 90's. A very nice turnbolt in big game calibers.

Well thanks for the correction. I guess that makes you right and me wrong. There's no problem with guns here. 28 people are dead at the other end of guns in a matter of a couple of minutes. If you really would like to convince people that are passionate about ending gun violence, try some of the families of victims and survivors of gun violence. They are really adamant about changing the distribution of guns in our society. And THEY are the ones that need the most convincing. It's hard to convince someone that's either died from a gun or almost died from a gun that "guns don't kill people". Your efforts would be better spent with those people, not me. You're not convincing me there's not a problem. For people such as yourself, no matter HOW many people can no longer speak for their right to life, it won't outweigh your right to own whatever you choose.
