Look at all of the little tyrants who want more restrictive gun laws. Truly pathetic.

Obviously it can't be the Americans on these boards. As an American would (or should) understand the purpose of guns and the citizenry.

More of Obama's statement:

2j3r902.jpg

"We've endured too many of these tragedies in the past few years. Each time I learn the news I react not as a president but as anybody else would as a parent.

"That was especially true today.

"I know there's not a parent in America that doesn't feel the same overwhelming grief that I do.

"The majority of those who died today were children, beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10.

"They had their entire lives ahead of them, birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own."

Obama sighed.

"Our hearts are broken today for the parents and grandparents, sisters and brothers of these children and the families of the adults we lost.

"As a country, we have been through this too many times.

"This evening Michelle and I will do whah every parent in America will do - hug our children a little tighter and tell them that we love them.

"There are families in Connecticut that cannot do that tonight and they need all of us tonight.

"May god bless the memory of the victims and in the words of scripture heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds."

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I am happy i am not a gun owner and guns are FVCKING STUPID. I will never have one in a house either.

Great, but law abiding citizens who want them in their homes should be able to have them.

There are plenty of Americans who want stricter gun laws. Not banning guns, just stricter laws. Stop judging who is a real American and who isn't. Aren't you the one who was complaining about dividing the country just yesterday? Statements like yours do nothing but that.

The constitution isn't divisive. The constitution is the law of the land whether some pathetic left-wing moonbat piece of ####### thinks so or not. It's not there to be played with or bastardized just because someone doesn't like a portion of it. It can be changed, yes. But it's very VERY hard to do so.

And it's been proven and is still being proved that stricter gun laws prevent nothing. Use google.

And yes he was correct in what he said. You would have to know about this country and how it came about to know that. Unlike Canada, the US broke free of the Brits and we did that with guns. We also are wary of our government. This is not Canada, and it is not a socialist state. It is the USA.

Nobody's trying to change the constitution.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
