a pleasant day to all vj memeber.need to clear my confusion again :-( my friend who is just a month her in USA had her ssn and the card she said tells that she is allowed to work?what i know is you need to file for AED WHILE UR AOS/greencard application is still on process.she is not even married yet to her fiancee :-) but,she insisted me that she can work, huh.me and my fiancee trying to start filling my green card as soon as we get married this coming tuesday.i am getting bored staying at home alone and i am looking forward to land a job soon.i filed my ssn last week so is it true that it will be a guarantee that we can start working without the AED?as long as we had the sscard?

any opinion is highly appreciated,,thank you,

After you are married you file for your AOS. When you do that you can also file for your EAD at the same time. You cannot work, even if you have a SS number, until you get your EAD.
