Hi there Staff of U.S.Embassy , Manila,

Greetings! My husband is an american living in the Philippines and we been married for almost 6 yrs now. We already file our Petition for IR-1 last Oct.9,2012 in your office , & also receive from Phil.Post that our Petition been Approve.We wondered what is the next step we will expecting for and how long should we wait ? We need to speed this up for the Medical Case for our little Girl in able to come to the US Asap. Pls. could Anyone verify and check on our status and see where we at. Thanks and any info really appreciated on our end.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

(USCIS/NVC letters took an average of 50 calendar days to arrive in the Philippines so we don't rely on letters, thanks God for internet and VJ)

[Thanks for the reply.. hope the sooner the better .. waiting and hoping that i will have an appointment for medical and interview... since got approved our petition for I-130 after one month filed in US Embassy Manila.....so any idea how long should i wait for more ( need to know how many months)? since this is consider 3 months already since we file our petition?

Hi there,

One month after we file for the immagration in Manila we got the approved . In 2 weeks after a month approved got the hard copy thru the post mail saying we are approved our petition in Manila. Yesterday is 3 months and never got any heared from them anymore and wondered when could we able to do medical or an interview in regards for my I-130 application..What should i do to speed this up? How long should we wait more in able to have an appointment from them or how long should we wait before i can finally come to the US.... Any further info much appreciated .Thanks.

after the I-130 is approved you are SUPPOSED to go online with the Manila IV portal

and schedule the appointment.

Once you get the appointment scheduled, you then print the interview letter.

You bring the interview letter to the medical exam.

There are other instructions, for DS-230 and I-864 intake, but you'll SEE THOSE on the Manila IV website after scheduling the IV Interview.
