Its good to receive this message, it means u r about for approval, ok as per my knowledge A# is for petitioner, see I-129F can file USC only, so as per ur fiance/fiancee previous marriage already he/she aloted A#, so if he or she intend to marry 2nd time so obviousley previous A# replace with new A#, so actually they are informing the petitioner that his/her A# has been changed.

So its good sign to receive this message......if any body else has other experience then they can make me correct.

THANKS.

The A# is for the beneficiary NOT the petitioner. The petitioner is the US citizen or LPR who files on behalf of the beneficiary, it is an alien registration number. If you don't know the correct answer to something it is best to not say anything rather than guess.

No. It's a sign of the alien finace(e)/alien relative being entered into the system and that's it. I got my A number during an RFE. While it's good that somebody was at least doing something with the petition, it doesn't neccessarily equal good news or an approval around the corner.

A petitioner is the US citisen. A US citizen is not an alien. A number is Alien registration number. The A-file is created upon the first encounter with immigration.

Keep it in mind, for yer next reply. :)
