Hi everyone,

No updates yet. I will def. post up sth when I hear news from USCIS. But for now.. let's be patient :)

Good luck!

Did you ever contact USCIS and put in a service request, talking to a tier 2 operator? I wouldn't really trust the tier 1 humans all that much. Personally, I'd have called by now, asking how things are and if there's a record of me calling in a service request. If so, then ask them which day that was done.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Yes. I did. I filed the service request (which only gave me the notice that the application for AOS is still in progress). And so I went to set up to meet with a USCIS officer and he told me that my case was adjudicated in January. I am not sure what that means but hopefully at least that sounds like it's moving forward.

Adjudicated means someone looked at your fle and made a decision(approval/denial/RFE) so I'm guessing that your file is still on a desk waiting to be looked at if you haven't had any update since.

We have the same problem. We filed AOS on May 29, 2012. The case was transferred to CSC on June 15, 2012. Fingerprint on June 25, 2012. And still waiting.

We have a friend, filed I-485 on May 12, 2012. Her case was updated on January 8, 2013, stated that she will receive her GC within 30 days.

So, hopefully ... :(

I applied for AOS June 28, 2012 and transferred to CSC July 27 and received EAD/AP end of August. Have heard nothing since. Just wrote my congresswoman to see if she can help!

Me and my wife wrote our congress and senator last week about our case and requesting help with it. Just a few minutes ago we got a letter from the senators office stating that the CSC is processing I-485 applications from April 2011. I do not what else to do except to write back stating that this is a family based application and please do a formal inquiry about it. I did do a service request, and I recieved a letter stating the standard blah blah just keep waiting. There were no timelines or anything in the letter. Does anyone keep up with time lines here and knows if they are actually approving applications that were transfered to the CSC?

Today (Apr 3, 2013), USCIS website indicated that my Green Card is in the final step (to be sent to me within the next 30 days). The last action I did was to connect my congressman last week and had the immigration personnel helped check upon my application status on my behalf directly with the USCIS California Service Center.

This is good news, and I will update again when the green card is here. Meanwhile, for those who have been waiting, keep being patient. My application from sending the documents to this approval took 10 months altogether - no interview was required for my case.
