Hello everyone. I am new to the website and have gotten a lot of information just by browsing. I have finally stumbled upon an issue that I cant seem to find a definitive enough answer for me to go ahead and send in the paper. Here is a background about me and my situation. Here goes. I am a US citizen petitioning for my husband. I recently graduated from college last year (May 2011). I then got a part-time job at sears in October. I filed my taxes by myself for the first time last year, but since i only worked the last 3 months of the year my taxes only shows i made $3,000 which did not qualify me to be the only sponsor. Before last year (2011) my mother has always filed my taxes since I didnt make much much at my part-time jobs as a student and I wasnt required to file my own taxes because i didnt make enough. Moving forward. I got a new job in July 2012 and which pays about 35,000 annually. Here is where my problem comes in. Initially I was going to have my mother be a co-sponsor for my husband but since i got this new job I dont think its necessary. Can I just be the only sponsor since i have the new job which puts me well above the poverty guidelines or should i still use my mother since my taxes does not reflect this. I have my job offer letter which states how much i will make annually. I also have my last 6 pay stubs. My mother is willing to be a co-sponsor if she has to.

I really dont want any RFE's and want it done the correct way the first time around so I want to make sure things are in order before i send them out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because i am just stumped about the issue.
