The guides are accurate. But the I-130, G-325A, and pictures are NOT all that is needed. The guides do not even say that. Read them. They are found here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1 . You might have misunderstood. If you follow the guides, you shouldn't have problems. There is a checklist of what you need.

There is also an I-130 instructions booklet found here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-130instr.pdf . This is what I used.

Read through the instructions booklet and complete each portion section by section. Make sure you're missing NOTHING.

Only the US citizen needs to submit a birth certificate (or a passport). And it's merely to prove they are a US citizen.

You might be reading the wrong guide on this forum. You should be reading this guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1 . It doesn't say you need to submit your birth certificate. Neither does the instruction booklet from USCIS.

Most of the evidence only concerns the US citizen because they are trying to determine the eligibility of the US citizen to sponsor you. You must submit proof of marriage and other things like to that show that you are her spouse. You must submit evidence of a bona fide marriage because they don't want immigration fraud (when someone marries another for the sole purpose of immigrating to the US). So if you follow the instructions booklet step-by-step, you will not go wrong! Especially since that is the most accurate source of information, because it's from the USCIS website.

Make sure you read every single line. Don't skim through it and think you've read it all. Follow every single instruction to the letter and you'll be fine.

Good luck with your journey!!

If you need any more help, feel free to post more questions.

fou fou lou lou

reading through your content I can see a little confusion...

you indicate your SO filed for a RI-1/CR-1

and on the timeline it is indicated as the K1.

If you need to have questions answered I would suggest to make it clear what type of visa she has applied for, and as previously suggested post in MENA to have people from Morocco to help with your questions.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/

Having the USC on here is also far better for both of you.
