Hi Guys...just want to ask coz we got a typo error.. We already got the NOA2 and was calling NVC for our case number..unfortunately my fiance's mom wrote the wrong month of my birth date on the I-129 form.. we sent them a letter of correction and corrected copy of the form I-129 including my passport copy. The question is DO WE NEED TO INCLUDE THE USCIS RECEIPT NO? The mail was already sent and only both of our date of birth are indicated in the letter.. Is this okay? Also, the service agent said only said that we only need to send them a copy of my passport. Please I need your help me on this...

I doubt they would match it up anyways, but I think it is much less unlikely to match your file without even having an NOA1 for reference.

thanks for the immediate reply guys :) So its ok everything will be ok? how many days till we can call them up again to follow up our case? we sent the letter thru special mail... Also, they would not give the case number because it does not match the date of birth on their file to the DOB that we were telling them, thats why they asked for a copy of my passport so they can correct it on their system.

The best and easiest thing to do is to notify nvc about the error... It's be corrected at that point and you'll be fine... Photo documentary evidence is the best way to demonstate you're the same person as the one in the original certidicate... Example of this include but not limited to: (1) international passport (2) drivers' license (3) baptismal certificate (4) medical records, school transcript record etc... Wishing you goodluck!
