Have you emailed them? Sometimes that might get a response. Have you gotten your cancelled check? It would have the case number on the back. You might want to fill in your timeline so we can help you much easier. :)

What service center are you going through? If it's California that is completely normal since they aren't really processing those yet. If you're going through Vermont, however, you need to call and check on your case.

December 20 2005 ~ NOA 1

June 26 2006 ~ Entered the U.S. under K-1 Visa

July 06 2006 ~ JOP marriage

September 12 2006~ I-485 Received by INS

September 18 2006~ NOA recieved

September 30 2006~ Married

October 3 2006 ~ Biometrics Appointment (Fingerprinted)

November 16, 2006~ RFE reply received ...didn't even know we had an RFE (INS stated that the RFE was

probably sent to the DR. that did our biometrics)

January 17, 2007 ~ CSC is now processing cases received September 25 (11 days after ours was received) :(

Hi,

If you could please fill in your timeline that would give us a better idea of your situation. Have you not rec'd a NOA1 yet? Did you pay by check, and if so have they cashed the check? If they did cash the check, your case # is on the back of the cleared check. I would begin to worry as well if I were you, if the check had not been cleared yet and you have not rec'd any correspondence from them after 70 plus days. You may want to give them a call and find out what is going on with your case.

Well, it all depends on your service center. Did you receive a receipt from them (NOA1)? Or are you just asking why you haven't gotten your NOA2 from them? Either way 73 days isn't an unheard of wait time, so hang in there :) Like others have said you can always try calling and emailing.

Now I have filled my timeline~ do you think my application could be rejected?

There's really nothing one can see in a timeline that would indicate a petition that has a chance of being rejected.

However, Vermont usually processes more quickly than they are going with your case. Have you signed up for online case status updates using your case number on your NOA1?
