If gayness is genetic, how do they reproduce?

Gay Dad -> Lesbian Daughter

Lesbian Mom -> Gay Son

Because gay dad married a woman or lesbian mom married a dude and had kids with her or him to fit into society which has been and still is rather prejudicial against homosexuals. If the theory holds, it would mean that it is homophobia itself that actually produces more homosexuals.

Well, that will suck. Everybody knows most illustrators and writers are totally gay. What will kids watch on Saturday morning?

Nothing changes, as the production studios have offices in Canada already.

That doesn't really pass the smell test. If there were no gay people, homophobia couldn't reasonably exist. And if there were no homophobia, any people that became gay through random mutations wouldn't feel social pressure to not be gay. They wouldn't reproduce and neither homophobia nor homosexuality could reasonably occur in sufficient concentrations to perpetuate each other.

Since they couldn't find an actual genetic link, they made up a new quasi-genetic mechanism. I read the article, and also googled the "science" behind it. Like most ####### posted on the internet, the story has gone viral, and almost always links back on itself, as is the case here.
