hey guys I just checked on the uscis website to check the status of my case, and ive put in my receipt number and it said •Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status.

IS THAT BAD???? :blink:

This is the case for a lot of people including me, so you are not alone. Keep checking as they do seem to update it eventually.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Mine's the same. It's because we're at the NBC. Most people there can not see their status. At least not for a few weeks if ever. Some have said it shows when approved so if I was you I would check it every week or so. (lol I check it everyday)


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

NVC - 119 days NVC to Visa in hand
03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )

I'm starting to see that. Some people are waiting over 6 mo and some are getting approved in less than 2 mo! There doesn't seem to be a even process. It seems to be based on luck :(

If you call and ask them a bunch of questions, then your stuff will finally show up because they want you to leave them alone :lol:

You are officially my dasher of hopes. I was hoping it was because they were going to process it today. I did do the address change a full 2 days before it was visible online and a few of the early October filers came online. Darnell, forgive me for using you as an example, calls all the time and his case isn't visible. So, I'm not sure that theory holds up. Plus, I only called 3 times that day because the first woman told me the wrong info and I got disconnected the second time. :blush:

I did do the address change a full 2 days before it was visible online and a few of the early October filers came online. To debunk KDH's theory, my husband hasn't called, won't call and really refuses to hear about immigration until we receive an official RFE, approval or denial. LOL But as of yesterday I can see our case online. I signed up for updates and now continue to just wait and hope.
