Just mailed I-129F!

I just dropped off the I-129F package at the UPS Store! I got delivery confirmation. Now we wait. Haha. Very thankful for this site and the guides.

Now how to pass the time?

I do have a question. I'm planning to stay in the Philippines for 1-3 months next year (depending on if my job will let me work remotely for that time or not). I was planning to do this when my lease is up so I wouldn't have a YS residence (other than my sisters house which I will change my address to). How will this affect the K1? Is it a bad idea?

I don't see any issue with that, just notify USCIS of your change of address for when they mail out any correspondence (797s).

As for passing the time... learn some drinking songs!

Should I have the change of Address to where I'll be staying in the Philippines or to a US address (will be my sisters house). I guess I'll have to change it again when I get back to the US and rent another apartment.

Use your sisters address, you for sure don't want anything getting into the Philippine mail system, sort of like the lottery whether you get the mail or not.

Here is to a speedy process to the NOA2 for you all. And to tell the truth, kinda jealous that you will be able to go over there to be with your sweetheart and still work. That would be awesome and I would do it in a heart beat. Safe travels and again, all the best with the process.

Well that hasn't been approved yet. I am crossing my fingers. At a minimum I plan to spend a month there on vacation time.
