Hopefully your biometrics appointment will come soon. I think if you still haven't received it 90 days from your NOA1 receipt, you can make an infopass appointment to get an interim EAD. I don't know if this is good for a year like the normal one though.

I received the NOAs in january 4th. I already received the AP... The EAD was approved... But the mail for the fingerprint not yet.

We called already and they said we need to wait.

K1 Visa

June 15, 2005 - Submited I-129F

June 29, 2005 - Received NOA1

July 09, 2005 - Received NOA2

July 19, 2005 - Package 3

August 18, 2005 - Package 4 with the interview date (october 17, 2005 in Rio)

September 6, 2005 - Medical exam done

October 17, 2005 - Interview date APPROVED!!!

December 2, 2005 - Arrived in the U.S.

December 8, 2005 - MARRIED!!!

AOS

December 23, 2005 Sent completed forms for AOS

Jan 2006 - Checks cashed for AOS

Jan 06, 2006 - Received all 3 NOA's

Feb 16, 2006 - EAD and AP approved

Feb 24th, 2006 - Received AP in the mail

March 18th 2006 - Still no biometrics letter, made infopass

April 11th 2006 EAD Biometrics

April 18th 2006 Received EAD in the mail

May 10th 2006 AOS Biometrics after calling 800 number for 2 months, they claimed letter was returned undeliverable by the post office.

May 25th case transfered to California Service Center

June 5th case received by California Service Center

June 14th - Email that a Greencard was ordered (no interview)

June 17th - Welcome letter comes in the mail

June 19 2006 - Greencard arriives in the mail - WE ARE DONE!!!

Sept 2006 - Passed the road test

October 2006 - First job in U.S.

March 2008 - File I-751 - Biometrics taken

Naturalization

Hey my EAD was not approve yet but i have bio appt. next week so pls be patient. It's been 100 days and no EAD yet for me. Goodluck.

It has been 3 months since I received NOA1 on my EAD application. I am still waiting for the moronic bureaucracy to complete its job. :angry:

I am now a US citizen.

Oh! my! :( im sorry to hear that, have you tried to make an infopass for your EAD? I hope i will receive my appointment letter, i cant help it to worry coz i really want to work.

I had NOA on Dec 8th. Didnt get my letter for Bio till Feb 3.

Had fingerprints done on Feb 22nd, and just received my EAD card today in the mail.

So just hang in there it takes a few months to get the letter.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Yes, the infopass appointment is 2 weeks from now. They do not have any other day open.

I have still been waiting for receiving the biometrics appointment letter. I left 90 days behind already.

I hope you receive your appointment letter very soon. I understand you. I want to start working right away too. Unfortunately we have to wait for the morons to complete their work. Do you think they USCIS might hire us? I am sure we can do a better job than they have been doing. But no... I do not think they hire people other than US citizens...which is why there is not much competition. And where there is a dearth of competition you see undeserving people getting such jobs and getting paid handsomely for that too.

Alas... :angry:

I am still waiting. No news or letters from USCIS yet. It has been 100 day already. No appointment letter, no word. It is extremely annoying and equally frustrating. I guess I will have to go to this infopass appointment soon.

I hope your wait is going to be short...
