Okay so maybe I am overreacting but I went to check on the processing times today for CSC and the one that I normally select "US citizen filing for a spouse, child under 21" or whatever is not listed as one of there choices... also when I am on the website uscis.gov and want to select CSC from the drop down box for the service center to check the processing time it only list Vermont and Texas does that mean that maybe they have transferred the case or are so far behind now they don't have them listed...I am quite confused :\

yep i noticed last week that category was eliminated from the CSC list. I attributed it ( and hope I am right) to the last online maintenance they carried out. someone in another thread said she was informed from by a USCIS rep that CSC is no longer processing that category of I-130s for now...if true why would they do that? that would super backlog so many cases ....its already a mess as it is right now

Okay so I just got off the phone with USCIS agent # 3695223 lol...and she told me that there isn't anything to worry about that the normal processing time for CSC is 5 months for this type of petition but perhaps because the number of petitions have increased they are reevaluating the time frame to process these and are going to change it to be 6 months instead of 5 months or something like that...but as far as them not processing this type of petitiong "US citizen filing for spouse, parent or child under 21" they still are...well that eases my mine some but I am still just trusting God!

I think those phone reps have no idea what they are talking about and frequently give the wrong information.
