I-130 Filed. Rceieved NOA1

Hi All,

I just received NOA1 for I-130 for my foreign spouse. The NOA1 says it has been routed to the Missouri Service Center (MSC) or National Benefits Center for processing. So, is the MSC better/efficient at processing these cases compared to the CSC which should have been the normal place due to my state of residence? Has anyone had an experience with the MSC either positive or negatively? I understand this would be a long wait but just need some info on how to better prepare for this wait. Thanks everyone!

Lots of people have had experiences with MSC.

Since the switch over in august, typical approval times have been 60-90 days however, the further we get from august, the more petitions that get filed so obviously can't guarantee that that will keep up, but so far so good.

Only downfall so far has been some requests for beneficiary BC.

And inability to check case number online.

So from your response, the MSC is better at processing cases than VSC? Just assuming though, or that all service centers are the same/

If you took a look around you'd see that cases at VSC have been getting approved in about 6 months time. There are posters on here who are still waiting for VSC approvals from the early summer whilst MSC cases from September and October and being approved.
