I'm going to the county clerks office today and I was checking the hours. I noticed they have 12 holidays per year. The one that stood out was SPRING DAY! It happens to fall on Good Friday every year. What a coincidence! They also have Christmas eve and Christmas day off but they haven't changed the names of the days yet. What a bunch of hypocrits! If you're not going to observe the day, get your a$$ to work! :bonk:

It is no coincidence, Throughout history, the church has hijacked the pagan festivals and renamed them according to their own superstition.

As such, the Spring Festival where the pagans celebrated the arrival of spring was renamed Easter, yet retaining all the pagan symbols, such as the rabbit and eggs, which in pagan culture symbolize fertility.

The same happened with the pagan festival of lights, celebrating the shortest days of the year, which was hijacked by the church and renamed Xmas, albeit retaining the tree and lights, original pagan symbols.

Perhaps, as you say, it is hypocritical that the church attempted to disguise these pagan dates as something religious, which in essence their are not, but then again, hypocrisy and religion have become synonyms,
