When it comes time for the interview i have read alot of people's evidence on here of proof of the ongoing relationship. So from other's views ,opinion, and experience exactly how much is too much evidence to present to the Embassy about your on going relationship? I know that we all want to send enough information to prove our ongoing relationship but i want to know because i am starting to prepare papers in advance myself for my fiance's interview. So can anyone shed some light on this as too just how much is enough to bring to the interview. I know that the Embassy doesn't want to go through everything if they did that for my evidence my fiance would have like a 1 month interview!!! Thanks for everyon'e thoughts in advance.

Someone came here and said they had sent a photo of them and their fiancee doing an intimate act, one on top.

Those are the only extents that you should avoid, in my opinion. Everything else is fair game.

I would say more is better than less. I plan to attend with my fiancee to the interview. I plan to take a CD with all the photos and emails instead of paper. Then I will have all the airline tickets, phone records and so on also.

Good luck.

That sounds like a good idea. I mean about everything on cd. And about the intimate details with someone's fiance(e) that is WAY too much!!!! But thanks for the responses i plan too be well prepared my attorney says not to have to much but i feel the same as you more is better. Good luck to you all thanks again for your reponses.

Hey Rodney,

Do you think it would be acceptable to take in a CD, or other electronic format, of photos/phone conversations/emails/flight reservations etc.?

AAm and I turned in plenty of printed evidence prior already. However, at the interview I also thought about using electronic formats as proof of the on-going/continued relationship. via my laptop.

I'm not sure if this would be acceptable though, because they want might printouts to keep with the other 100000000 pages of your petition, as a part of your overall file. If you just show them electronic pictures...it wouldn't be possible for them to archive that evidence.

Opinions/advice anyone?

I would contact the embassy to see if they will allow that. I seriously doubt you will be able to use a CD, how are they to know you aren't installing viruses or otherwise impacting thier security and computers?

Hmm, that's interesting. I wouldn't expect that they would allow your CD anywhere near their equipment, but if you had your own laptop, that might be one way to transport the data. If you could get the laptop into the interview.

I expect, though, that electronic proof isn't best even if the logistics would be worked out. They're going to want to collect the proof and put it in a packet, and something tells me that having the relevant data on a CD wouldn't be the most helpful thing ever. (If they need to review it later, are they going to use a laptop?)

I'd check with the consulate before bringing electronic records. Would be cool to put the whole application on a flash drive, though.

As far as I know they do not allow any electronics to be taken inside the Consulate/Embassy. Not even mobile phones. So I don't know if taking your info in a CD is a very good idea. As someone else said, they might not allow you to use their computers to show your pictures and e-mails.

I don't plan to take everything via electronics. I will print out a good sampling of emails, IM's, photos, all of the phone records, and have all paper airline receipts.

Carol and I are on messenger every night and there are numerous photos. I just plan to take a good sampling of everthing. The rest would be on a CD if needed and I would just get it printed up. If I give them everything, we would have to cut down a rain forest.

I feel as others that everything on CD would be frowned on.

Good luck to all.
